Vintage aprons

These 3 are so cute. The black one is pictures in the window, it's belt is inserted in the waistline and is like a drawstring. I have never seen one like this before. The green one has a folksy graphic, and is courderoy. My Favorite is the blue and white, it has a uniquely shaped waistline, and the linen is so sweetly old. It would look beautiful in someones country kitchen, or with a swedish deco theme. It's so simple.
PS sorry the black one is wrinkly, I hate to iron!
Email if you are ready to be their new home!

FarmGirl Swap or buy items

Christmas tablecloths, some are large, some are small, there is one that is cut but still great for cutting/ crafts. They all go together, please email if you would like them!

wool/velvet dresser covering

Here is a wool/velvet dresser cover. It has these cool pinecone like tassles on the end, and the embroidery is beautiful. It is folded and the salmon color backing is showing.

The folded linen is an embroidered breadroll basket liner. White with blue thread. Very vintage and very cute.

The cover has a few small moth holes, and not all of the tassles, but is still very funky and an artsy person could fix it up I think. It would make a nice table runner.

Please email if you would like to buy or barter!

FarmGirl Swap or buy items

(first photo is of box of vintage fabric)
I am planning on swapping/selling so many items, I decided to load my photos here and send everyone a link. I am simplifying because I am going to have our baby soon, and basically I lost a whole closet. So... I can't keep as many art/craft supplies as I would, and I won't be doing as much for a while anyway! I could use the extra income for baby stuff, and my house will feel a lot lighter. All good reasons to send this off to you farmgirls!! Please email soon!

NY snowcreature

Hello from the land of snow! You might not have ever seen this creature in the trail books, that's because they are usually so shy. Sort of like the sasquach. But this one had an outgoing personality and I believe was attracted to the carrots we were feeding to it's larger friend, so it didn't run away.
Approx. 3ft tall and 18-20 inches in diameter. Very gentle and no threatening habits.
All in all the family was very happy to have had this encounter in our yard.

Beautiful eggs

Here are some of our beautiful pictures from our home! We are inspired by the artful blogger.

Cheese making day

We went to visit a friend who has an organic dairy cow, to make cheese. I would have to say she is a true dairy princess! We made our own cheese wheel to take home, but she also gave us enough tips and inspiration to get us started on a lot of projects. We tasted homemade cream cheese (absolutely delicious!!!) and a wheel of cheddar that was made in December. (She ages her cheese for two months.) The children made hay bale forts in their barn, in between the interesting stages of making the cheese. There is much waiting! They all came home with full tummies and hair full of hay. What a perfect day!
